You can really tell this clinic cares about their animals. Our cat is usually nervous in a new setting, but he was treated very kindly by staff. I would recommend this clinic to anyone

All staff are so kind and want the best for your dog. When my dog was going through a medical issue, Dr Gill found alternative solutions with better pricing and my dog is doing so much better. During the process they did regular check ups with me via email which showed that they really care for the well being of your pets. I would recommend anyone to go here!

Our cat was diagnosed with a fatal disease, and every vet we visited told us that there was no treatment available. Heartbroken, devastated, and losing hope, we eventually found our way to Tynehead Clinic. Dr. Gill refused to give up! He examined our cat, presented us with all the facts clearly, and reassured us that hope still existed.It’s been more than a week since we began the intensive treatment plan, and our cat is doing significantly better! Dr. Gill is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also exceptionally compassionate and genuinely caring. Each day he greets us with warmth, optimism, and a reassuring smile, making the difficult journey feel manageable and hopeful. He prioritizes animal welfare above all else, a rare quality these days.The entire team at Tynehead Clinic is wonderful! We feel incredibly lucky and grateful that we found Dr. Gill and his exceptional staff.Thank you, Dr. Gill, for believing in Jerry and for giving us back hope when we needed it most. We have been bringing our cats to Tynehead to see Dr. Gill since they first opened! The staff are so sweet and kind, always going above and beyond for all our visits. We have been so thankful for all the support they have given both our cats and answering all our questions. One of our cats has had different heath needs over the years and we have always appreciated Dr. Gills honesty and kindness.We will always recommend Tynehead when anyone we know is looking for kind and honest care for their pets 🤍

Thank you always to Dr Gill & the wonderful team at Tynehead ❤️ I thought I had posted a review awhile back but I guess I hadn’t! They made our visits very comfortable and Dr Gill was always extremely transparent and honest about treatment protocols. He always took time to explain methods and his suggestions. It wasn’t an easy time for me as my dear kitty was very unwell, we finally were able to truly diagnose him. For his final weeks he was very comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you for doing your very best for my sweet Django Thunder❤️I even brought my new kitty children to meet Dr Gill. I’m grateful for his support when I have questions or have issues - he is kind enough to help guide me❤️

Dr. Gill is the kindest and most compassionate vet I’ve ever met, and I’ve had three dogs that were always nervous about going to the vet. He never pushes unnecessary treatments and always takes the time to offer several options, making sure you feel informed and comfortable with every decision. His genuine connection with animals is unlike anything I’ve seen—he even gets down to greet my dog at eye level, something no other vet has ever done. Sadly, after 15 ½ wonderful years, I had to say goodbye to my dog Chase, but Dr. Gill made the experience as gentle and peaceful as possible. He shed tears alongside me, sharing in the loss. To top it off, he sent a heartfelt sympathy card that I will always treasure. I couldn’t have asked for better care for my beloved companion.

Tynehead Animal Hospital is the best veterinarian / animal clinic I've ever been to. If you love your pet(s) and you want the best care, you need to take them to see Dr. Gill and his wonderful staff.My dog, Kingston, is a 9.5 year old bulldog and he recently had a huge swelling on the side of his neck / face / chest. I took him to see Dr. Gill because 1). I looked for the vet with the best reviews and ratings and 2). My previous vet was not open the day his swelling got really bad. Tynehead has a 4.9 rating and while I was a little concerned at first (I've never heard of a vet with anywhere near that high of a rating) let me tell you that they are the real deal. I wish I could give extra stars in my review.Dr. Gill treated my dog like he was one of his own. He answered every single one of my (panicked) questions with incredible patience and professionalism. He never once tried to sell me anything my pup did not need. No unnecessary tests, food, etc. He put the health and recovery of my dog, and what was best for Kingston, as his focus. I can't thank him and his staff enough.Also - if you made this far, Dr. Gill personally called me the day after Kingston had his treatment. He gave me the good news that his test results came back great and he is a healthy fella. This is wonderful service and it brought tears to my eyes hearing those words from Dr. Gill.I am now referring everyone I know who has a pet to him. He will be meeting Kleo, Freddy, and Lexi very soon :).This is a wonderful animal hospital and veterinarian clinic and you owe it to your pet to bring them to see. Dr. Gill.
